Welcome to the FISHERMAN newsletter with our latest news.

The University of Alicante (UA) launches the 6th of Edition of the International Master in Sustainable Fisheries Management, which is jointly organized with the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA), through the General Secretariat of Fisheries (SGP), and the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), through the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza (IAMZ),

The main objective of the Master is to provide high level specialization in issues related to the economics and sustainable management of the fishing activity. Structured in two parts, the new edition of the Master starts in October 2015 and will length two academic years on a full-time basis (120 ECTS)

The deadline for submission of applications from non-Spanish candidates is the 4th May 2015. There are scholarships for candidates from CIHEAM member countries from developing countries that have a cooperation agreement with the SGP-MAGRAMA.
